Tablelands Events

The Atherton Tablelands Agricultural Society Inc. (ATAS) is a distinguished not-for-profit organisation dedicated to celebrating and promoting the vibrant agricultural heritage of the Atherton Tablelands. Through dynamic and inclusive events, ATAS showcases local talent, fosters community spirit, and champions sustainable agricultural practices. We have been bringing the Atherton Show to town since 1904.

In addition to the annual Agricultural Show, ATAS is proud to host a variety of other community-oriented events, including Art & Craft Markets, Carols by Candlelight, and the biannual Tolga Scarecrow Festival. These events are made possible through the unwavering support of our dedicated volunteers, local businesses, industry partners, community organisations, and the people of the Atherton Tablelands. On occasion, our committee and volunteers also introduce or partner with events that are relevant to the community and align with our mission, vision, and values.

Commonly known as the Atherton Show Society, ATAS ensures that each of its events has a distinctive look and feel while remaining true to our core principles.
